The FantasariumWhere the spirit does not work with the hand there is no art. The Fantasarium is a school of dreams, taught by dreamers and attended by dreamers! Our classes at the Fantasarium are called dreamshops. Here, we facilitate the use of the untamed imagination, encourage self-confidence, inspired creativity, and unique self-expression as the fundamental objectives. We desire to nurture the creative process. Our dreamshops, which are original co-creations, written and performed by the kids themselves along with their artistic mentors, are filled with the magic and joy of creating. We tap actively into the realms of the imagination using a simple technique we call dream-breathing. The Fantasarium is an exuberant, experiential setting where originality, imagination, creativity and self-worth are nurtured. Join the Fantasarium: DATE:
Monday afternoons For reservations, call 303-521-4896 This is a free-spirited, creative ensemble where music, art, storytelling, play-writing and theater are woven together to support the development of imagination, creativity, expression, confidence and worth in an exciting, collaborative, and non-competitive setting. First, our kids are given a bare-bones sketch of an original story. We then work together to develop the story-line. Collaborative creativity and teamwork are the fundamental objectives. All performers are valued equally, working side-by-side to create their own unique show. Once the story is complete, participants choose the roles they wish to perfect and perform. We then rehearse and develop our roles, learning to work together as a team. The final performance is delivered without words, instead using movement, pantomime, clowning, music, and creative artistic expression as the vehicle for communication. This dreamshop is specially designed to nurture and enhance the imagination and the creative process. Weekly reservations required. Lily's Truth WorkshopsLily’s Truth is an educational series designed to enhance clarity, self-knowledge and core empowerment in kids and teens. Our workshops, or dreamshops as we call them, are experiential, imaginative, hands-on events. In a safe and personal setting, participants learn the basic lessons of Lily’s Truth then put that knowledge into action. We accomplish this by weaving the central lessons with theater activities, writing, storytelling and art to create a memorable, creative and expressive learning experience.
